Using videos |
You can easily find on the internet videos explaining how to fold a particular model. They can be a very valuable tool to better understand a trick or the result of a folding step. They can be a complementary tool to diagrams. Moreover, some of them are illustrated by the thumbnails of the corresponding diagram (example Origami Youtube Play Button by Jo Nakashima). Ideal for learning to read a diagram! Naturally, their use will be linked to the use of the on-off technique, to give time to do the folding, because the demonstrator or the demonstrator, generally origami aware, does not work particularly slowly! There are even videos in accelerated, which summarize a folding of a few hours in a few minutes. It's fascinating to watch, fun, but not educational! For an amazing but easy folding example, check out Penrose Triangle Origami (Alessandro Beber) by EzOrigami. Some recommended channels (the language used is generally English): - Jeremy Shafer, a folder of incredible creativity and inimitable style JeremyShaferOrigami - Jo Nakashima, a great professional.
