An example of an elementary component: the Sonobe module
This module allowed, for the first time, to create decorative balls (kusudamas) whose plan of construction is a mathematical polyhedron.

Download the document « Pliage du module de Sonobe ». Practice folding it with great precision. A good size of paper is 7.5x7.5 cm. Do not throw out the folded modules: they will be used to build a decorative ball!

Very many variations on the Mitsunobu Sonobe module can be found on the internet. They consist essentially, starting from two-colored leaves, to fold and fold the flaps, so as to show patterns of different colors on the result.

Try to make your own variations, they will make your pride.
