Create a square, or an A4 rectangle
Here are some very useful things to do from any sheet and bring it to a folding format.

Download the document « Créer un carré ou un rectangle dans une feuille quelconque ». There are two examples:
- creating a square in a rectangle, for example a sheet in A4 format.
The principle is to fold a bisector of a corner and use as a marker the edge that has just been folded. Naturally, you must remove the excess part. For this, the symbol « scissors » should not be taken literally. You can use scissors, a cutter or cut by hand. Personally, I use rather a sharp knife blade, by folding the excess part in advance along the edge of the future square.

- creation of a format A from a square.
This is the dual operation of the previous one. It requires great precision made delicate following difficult folds.

Train yourself using the remains of your carvings. The leaves will be smaller and smaller, it will be a good exercise of precision
