Pureland origami
The pureland origami is a branch of origami invented by the English folder John Smith, for beginners and people with disabilities. Only the use of valley and mountain folds is allowed, which prohibits the folding of some popular and very simple models.

Other definitions have been proposed, allowing the use of reversed or crushed folds. The game consists of making a figure using a minimum of folds (4 or 5 folds generally), each fold counting for a number of points depending on its type. The best folding is the one that gets the lowest score.

Each creator sets a limit. Generally, this limit is 4 or 5 folds.

Jeanine Moseley has created several minimal alphabets (uppercase and lowercase) in 4 folds, then in 3 folds then in 2 folds! Video full of information.

A nice example of place-mark by Paul Jackson , who has who has agreed to make his diagram available to you. Download it!
