Kusudamas (continued)
The architecture of « kusudama » (or ornamental balls) is based on classical mathematical models, such as Platonic solids. Very often cubic assemblies (6 or 12 modules), icosahedrons (30 modules) or dodecahedrons (90 modules) will be found. Some mounts use insertions in the support architecture, which multiplies the number of pieces to fold.
